00:00The Department of Tourism or DOT coordinated with a golf course facility in Baguio City

00:06to start the possible expansion of tourism in the gulf,

00:10which is also targeted to the Cordillera region and to the whole country.

00:20The Department of Tourism is assisting the gulf tourism in the country.

00:24In the opening of Camp John Hay to the public,

00:26the DOT aims to coordinate here for the possible expansion of tourism and golf in Baguio City.

00:33Just recently, the gulf product update was made

00:36where the DOT and the stakeholders of Camp John Hay Hotels and Camp John Hay Golf

00:42helped for the mentioned aims.

00:44We need your help so that you can come up with a package or a really good price

00:52when it's not too cheap and it's not too expensive.

00:56Remember, there is always a problem when you offer something very cheap.

01:01Part of the product update is the tour and inspection of the hotel rooms

01:05and other facilities of the hotels in Camp John Hay.

01:09There was also a tour of the golf fairways, driving range, and clubhouse.

01:13The DOT team is accompanied by national and local tour operators

01:18for the exploration of potential partnerships.

01:21It is high time to make use of what we have, the best of the golf courses that we have.

01:27We can offer it either locally and nationally then.

01:31The DOT encouraged the tour operators to make gulf tourism packages

01:36where the people of Baguio and Cordillera Region can visit.

01:41One of the DOT's suggestions is to make the Philippines the premier gulf tourism destination.
