00:00More than 70,000 farmers will benefit from the modern rice processing system in Isabela,

00:07according to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. through the facility.

00:11In addition to faster production, the income of the farmers will also increase.

00:26the rice processing system in Ipil, Itiage, Isabela.

00:31The project is from the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund Mechanization Program,

00:37funded by P67 million.

00:40The President explained how to process rice.

00:45The facility has a multi-stage rice mill that can process 2 to 3 tons of rice every hour.

00:53There are also 5 recirculating dryers that can accommodate 12 tons of rice worth almost P19 million.

01:02More than 70,000 registered farmers will benefit from the facility.

01:10That's equivalent to more than 60,000 hectares of land.

01:15In addition to faster production, the income of the farmers will also increase.

01:21This is a direct help because our farmers will no longer have to go through traders.

01:26They will dry the rice, they will also mill their rice, and they will have an additional 30% income.

01:37The farmers in the province thanked the government for their help.

01:43This is a big help to us, farmers, because we are the priority for the farmers.

01:48I am very thankful to the provincial government because they put up this program

01:56so that more farmers like us can benefit from it.
