00:00The Department of Agriculture insisted that they will stop talking about the rice branding issue.

00:07According to Agriculture Secretary Francisco Chu Laurel Jr.,

00:11one of the reasons why they plan to leave the rice branding in January

00:17is because consumers are confused by retailers and traders about its price.

00:23It is expected that the issue will be brought out first

00:26since the personnel inspected the market for their choice in Metro Manila.

00:31Meanwhile, the standardization of the rice label is being accelerated this month

00:37by other agencies.

00:39This is also why it is more important to monitor the price in markets and choices.
