00:00The Department of Social Welfare and Development assured that only beneficiaries who are entitled to receive assistance from their agencies

00:10and not just any politicians.

00:13According to DASWD Assistant Secretary Arvind Omlao,

00:17the process for beneficiaries, particularly assistance for the Kapos Angkita or ACA Program, is going smoothly.

00:26Just last week, DASWD and DOLE and NEDA worked together to draft the guidelines

00:35that will be used to implement the program in the next Conditional Implementation in the National Budget for this year.

00:44Omlao explained that they will also use their existing processes

00:50such as the assessment of their social workers, validation, vetting process, and others

00:57that they will also use in their other programs such as ICCS,

01:01in the amount of Php 2,000 to Php 10,000 for financial assistance to be received

01:06that will still depend on the assessment of social workers

01:10using the information provided by the beneficiaries.

01:15The assessment of the beneficiaries of the programs and services of DASWD

01:21is based on the guidelines that we have set and we are sure that the process will go smoothly.

01:31Through these processes that I mentioned,

01:35we will show that only DASWD is leading in the implementation of the program

01:40and that no one is the target.

01:43No politician is the target of the beneficiaries of this program.
