00:00The Department of Education in Region 12 is all set for the Soksargen Regional Athletic Association meet.

00:14The Department of Education in Region 12 is all geared up for the Soksargen Regional Athletic Association SRAAMEET

00:21which will feature 7,000 student-athletes and guests from the region.

00:26The SRAAMEET, a week-long sporting event slated for March 3-8, is an annual competition that gathers student-athletes

00:32from the nine divisions in Soksargen to promote physical vitality, mental agility, and sportsmanship, among others.

00:40DepEd Regional Director Carlito Rocafort described the 2025 SRAAMEET a historic first,

00:46highlighting the unprecedented joint hosting efforts between the city and provincial governments.

00:52We are making a history. This is history in the making.

00:57First time in the history of Region 12 that there is a partnership between South Cotabato and City of Coronado

01:08in hosting this kind of sports event.

01:12The SRAAMEET serves as screening and qualifying stage for the region's representatives for Palarong Pambansa,

01:19the national youth games of the Philippines.

01:22DepEd said that classes will be suspended in schools designated to house the influx of athletes

01:28as it also appealed for widespread community support to ensure the successful execution of the event.
