00:00All right, let's talk about Godwin in Tampa. What is the status on him getting a deal with the Buccaneers?

00:06Yeah, this is a big story. So Chris Godwin Scott. No, he he had the dislocation of his ankle

00:13Season against Baltimore in a primetime game and it was an awful injury saw him get a cart carted off

00:19He was headed Scott. His pace was ridiculous

00:23People should remember they moved him back to the slot

00:26He was there earlier in his career where Bruce Arians made a decision when he was head coach

00:29To move inside and Godwin took off. He was headed for a pace of 120 to 130 catches

00:36We played a full season. He was had a great game by the way against the Ravens that night

00:40But so he didn't play again during that season. He's got a contract that expires now

00:46He's got what we call voidables on his contract. So it was set to void

00:51Actually already was gonna it was gonna void about a week ago

00:54So now what happened is Godwin and the club got together

00:57They moved the void back to March 12th to the start of free agency

01:01This gives them a chance to read to kind of renegotiate this contract look at it again. Try to get him back

01:07They want him back. He wants to be back. He's been a great Buccaneers a former third-round pick out of 2017

01:13it's a phenomenal football player out of Penn State and

01:16Really when you look at it you put Mike Evans there and Chris Godwin and they've got some young guys who could run and

01:24And the tight end group which is pretty good, that's a heck of an offense
