00:05and Zach Bond and all the other guys that are, you know, Metcalf wants to trade and

00:17Typical offseason in a national football league as far as you know Crosby listen he's a great

00:22football player and there was a lot of talk whether they were going to trade him or not

00:26at some point the Raiders have to start to try to win, right?

00:30And Pete Carroll's not getting any younger, right?

00:33So Pete Carroll's here, he wants to win quickly and he needs football players to do it.

00:38Tom Brady has swung and missed a couple of times already, right?

00:41They wanted to get Ben Johnson as their head coach in Las Vegas and Brady worked him hard

00:46and Johnson didn't want any part of it although the Bears did have Caleb Williams.

00:51Then they tried to convince Matt Stafford to change cities.

00:56Stafford really didn't want to go.

00:57That's one thing that the Rams sort of had in their back pocket that Stafford truthfully

01:01didn't want to leave Los Angeles.

01:04So they get the deal done.

01:06I don't have a problem with the Crosby deal Scott and Zach Bond, man Philadelphia he was

01:12a great player for them and Vic Fangio was the one that wanted to bring him in from New

01:15Orleans.

01:16I knew the teams are going to go after him.

01:19The Eagles are just the best run organization in football.

01:21They take care of their players and they take care of their players quickly.

01:25They don't let these contracts, they're always ahead of the curve.

01:28But one thing I'll say about it, we'll see what the quarterbacks got.

01:32I saw a list of the top 10 quarterbacks of most paid, the highest paid quarterbacks in

01:38the league.

01:40For the most part it's a bunch of stiffs bro.

01:41It's like Dak Prescott and Trevor Lawrence and you know the whole thing about like Sam

01:48Darnold right now, like the whole thing about getting the most money just because your contract

01:53up is crazy to me in the NFL and that's how you know I know that's not Crosby not a quarterback

01:58but you see this right now and in a modern era it's like yeah well he's not that good.

02:03He's okay only but what are we going to do?

02:05We don't have a quarterback so we got to give this guy 50 million dollars a year and I've

02:09always found that to be crazy that just because your contract is up doesn't mean you have

02:14to be the highest paid player in the league but that's where we're at right now right?

02:18Like everybody's going to be the highest paid player this and the highest paid player that

02:21but if you're the Raiders Scott you need to sell something bro.

02:25You can only sell so many like Bo Jackson jerseys and talk about the past for so long.

02:30They need a player they can sell a jersey for.
