00:00It is year number two under Brian Callahan, Joe.

00:03But really in his rookie season, it was defined by Brian Callahan

00:07probably being angrier than every other fan in Tennessee

00:10at the quarterback play of Will Levis and or Mason Rudolph.

00:14So it's almost like his de facto rookie season as a head coach once again.

00:20If things do not work out, though, to the point we were highlighting, Joe,

00:23right before the commercial break, Brian Callahan is going to be easily,

00:27easily dispatched of if that is the decision.

00:32Mike Borgonzi, the new GM in Nashville, was not the guy in the front office

00:36to hire Brian Callahan.

00:38That was before Borgonzi's time.

00:40But Borgonzi was the guy who inherited the number one overall selection

00:44and drafted Cam Ward.

00:47So if things don't work out this year, if they feel that Cam Ward's development

00:50in the National Football League is being hindered even in the slightest,

00:54it's going to be very easy to dismiss Brian Callahan getting ready for 2026.

00:59Yeah, I mean, you go from Mike Vrabel to a young head coach in Brian Callahan,

01:06with no offensive explosiveness.

01:09One weapon, you could say Tony Pollard and Calvin Ridley,

01:13if you want to give him that, at the end of his career.

01:15And the quarterback position was just null and void, Will Levis and Mason Rudolph.

01:21Well, you can move on.

01:23You can afford to move on from Brian Kelly.

01:25And what coach would move the needle to potentially come in and just revamp the offense?

01:31We'll see what, you know, this season brings because it's always a young offensive coordinator.

01:36But I do believe they need an offensive mind to help Cam Ward's progression.

01:41We see Dave Canales helping Bryce Young.

01:44It wasn't pretty at first, but allowing him to sit, benching him, allowing him to come back.

01:49He really progressed in Dave Canales' system.

01:52What do they do?

01:53They go out in the draft.

01:54They get him wide receiver help.

01:56They sign Hunter Renfro and some wide receivers in free agency.

01:59And all of a sudden, now the offense looks pretty bright heading into this season.

02:04That's what you need for Cam Ward.

02:06You don't want to hurt his development by handcuffing him.

02:10You want to actually throw the playbook at him, see if he can handle it, and see what you get.

02:15And then take the pieces and say, you know what, is he the right head coach to lead this type of offense?

02:21If not, you move on and you get somebody else that can elevate the team.

02:25They're not going anywhere, Ben.

02:26I don't know if they get over the five and a half.

02:29Cam Ward could will them to potentially six wins.

02:32But that's asking a lot with this roster.
