00:11I don't see the Lions as good as they used to be or were last season.
00:15But their over-under totals, this is crazy.
00:18The 10.5 total, the over is plus money, believe it or not.
00:22At plus 110, the under is minus 135.
00:26Scott, there's something missing with their defense.
00:28And obviously they lost Aaron Glenn, who's a very good coordinator.
00:31He's now the Jets head coach.
00:33And Kelvin Shepard's their first-time defensive coordinator.
00:35He moves from being their linebackers coach to their defensive coordinator.
00:38So that's a big change.
00:40And, by the way, they've got an offensive coordinator change.
00:42As we know, Ben Johnson, now the Bears head coach.
00:44And John Morton did call the plays many years ago for the Jets.
00:48Also called the plays at USC.
00:49He's the new offense coordinator.
00:51So you've got two new coordinators.
00:53But the big issue for them is not on offense, Scott.
00:55It's on defense.
00:56Where's the pass rush to help out Aiden Hutchinson?
01:00The cornerbacks are okay.
01:02They're deep enough.
01:03But the young kids have got to play well.
01:04Terry and Arnold, their first-round pick last year, has got to take the next step.
01:07Ennis Reikestral didn't really contribute very much.
01:09He was a second runner last year at corner.
01:11They're great at safety.
01:12But the big issue, Scott, to finish off the Lions is, where's going to be that pass rush?
01:17I've got a major issue with their pass rush.

01:20Have you noticed or watched any of the quarterback show on Netflix that also has Mr. Goff on it?

01:32But I'm well aware of the Goff story about how he felt about his exit from the Rams.
01:37I know about the Kirk Cousins situation.
01:39This is old news.
01:40But I'd certainly like to hear them say it on that Netflix series.
01:44I'll definitely go watch it.

01:46But, boy, the Jared Goff thing.
01:48And, again, Ben Johnson and Mark Brunel, by the way, who's the quarterback, you've got to give those guys credit for reviving Jared Goff's career.
01:57But Ben Johnson moving on, Scott, is a big thing.

02:01They had two new coordinators last year, and they won the Super Bowl.
02:04But let's not forget, Kellen Moore had been a coordinator.
02:07Vic Fanger is one of the best in NFL history.
02:08These are big changes here for the Lions.
02:12So you think that those two, Johnson and Glenn, leaving for head coaching gigs in Chicago and New York, is going to hurt Campbell and this team?

02:29Scott, when you take a look at their defense and their pass rush, the two new coordinators on offensive defense, they're just not as good on paper.
02:37All you could do is, when you're talking about July before training camp, we know about their off-season, the off-season moves, and so forth, and the coaching changes.
02:44You go with what you see and what you know and what you hear.
02:48I've got my issue with their pass rush.
02:49Obviously, the odds makers don't seem as good.

02:58And, obviously, people do not see people putting money on numbers right now.
03:03The future numbers don't see them getting 11 wins or more.
