00:05 you played with Matthew Stafford in Detroit

00:10 during those years, to see Matthew go back with the Rams

00:15 and play a playoff game in Detroit,

00:16 which you tried so hard for so many years

00:18 to get a play a home playoff game in Detroit,

00:21 see him go back there, wild scene, great game,

00:24 thankfully the Lions won, but it had to be weird

00:27 seeing Matt finally in a playoff game in Detroit,

00:29 but on the other side.

00:30 - Matt is one of my, Matthew is one of my closest friends.

00:35 I was in his wedding, the guy had his first Christmas

00:38 at my house with his wife now Kelly.

00:41 So we spent a lot of time together,

00:45 we had a really close relationship.

00:46 And I would say that was a day that I couldn't lose

00:51 as a fan, obviously rooting for the Lions,

00:55 but obviously rooting for Matthew.

00:56 And what a season he has, he had to revive his career,

01:01 but nonetheless, the city of Detroit deserves it.

01:05 And I will say this, I've been around Red Wings,

01:09 I've been around the Pistons and I've been around the Tigers.

01:12 The Tigers went to the World Series,

01:13 I've been around Stanley Cups, drank out of the Stanley Cup.

01:17 I've been around when the Pistons won it in the Palace,

01:20 they beat Kobe and Shaq and the Lakers.

01:22 And I will tell you, every time I've been around

01:26 a celebration in Detroit, everybody always said,

01:29 "Man, could you imagine if you guys ever won?"

01:31 I mean, this place would go upside down, bananas.

01:33 And it's exactly what it is right now.
