00:00Let's hear from Dan Campbell, the start of a new year of Detroit Lion football.

00:03Of course, they were the one seed in the NFC last year and promptly lost at home to Washington.

00:10They lost both of their coordinators.

00:12But Dan Campbell, you know him, Scotty, he's ready to go.

00:15Unfinished business this year.

00:18Well, look, this is one of the things I talked about in the meeting the other day, you know,

00:21and it's just I think if we keep that type of mindset, man, we're, you know, we're after.

00:28It's another year and we're out to finish what we started.

00:33We're going to close out some of these debts.

00:35That's got to be the attitude.

00:36That's the mindset across the board every day in practice, no matter who we play,

00:41no matter what people think, man, we're going.

00:44And I just think it's a mindset.

00:46That's all.

00:48Well, what it really is, is it's an F up.

00:51They F it up every year.

00:53Okay, so we've seen them with all the glory and prognosticators.

00:59Everybody's got the lions, right?

01:01Like the last two years went in the Super Bowl.

01:05They can't even get in the game.

01:07Okay.

01:08So enough already about this guy being a genius.

01:11And I'll tell you what, without Aaron Glenn and without this guy Johnson,

01:17I think that you're going to find out.

01:20They give this guy all this credit.

01:22He's this genius coach.

01:23I think what he had was really good coaches on his staff that made him look good.

01:28And then they still didn't get it done.

01:31Now he doesn't have those guys there.

02:29but could be a hold in as in he's going to show up at camp,

02:34but he's not going to do anything because he doesn't want to be fined.

02:38So he is going to be there.

02:40Washington expected Terry McLaurin to show up today.

02:44They're still working on a new deal.

02:45I have an update to that story.

02:47He didn't show up.

02:48There's no Terry McLaurin in Washington.

02:51I think McLaurin and Hendrickson or whatever

02:56are the two biggest, longest ongoing sagas of no signed deal

03:03that we've seen since last season.

03:07These two guys have been,

03:09they're the front runners for the most boring story

03:12that never amounts to anything.

03:14Like all we ever hear about is some nonsense about these two,

03:18not, you know, working and not having a deal.

03:21I don't care anymore about Trey or about this guy, Terry,

03:26because they never get a deal done.

03:28Call me when they get their money and they play again.

03:31And remember this, he is there like Daniels.

03:34And that guy are the two best players on the whole effing team.

03:37So go ahead and don't pay him.

03:40I actually think, believe it or not, this sounds crazy,

03:43but the Bengals defense sucks with Trey.

03:46They're, they're terrible with him.

03:48They are, that's a fact.

03:50I don't want to hear it.

03:51They don't do anything ever with him.

03:54They went to the Superbowl a few years ago.

03:55They've been terrible ever since, even with Joey Silk.

03:59And so your buyer beware, they're paying them all this money.

04:04The other guy to me, I think Terry McLaurin is worth,

04:07is way more valuable in my view than the, than the edge rusher.

04:11Because they don't do anything with him.

04:13But Terry McLaurin scores touchdowns left and right.

04:16So he's their best player that, and Daniels wants to throw to him and nobody else.
