00:00All right, uh, takeaways and Intel from, uh, the opening Sunday of pain day, uh, where

00:10do you want to start here?

00:12Yeah, it's interesting.

00:13Oh, by the way, this just came down and we, we shouldn't mention this.

00:16The Rams will host the Cardinals in their home opener.

00:18They lost last night at Detroit.

00:20They are a mash unit on their offensive line.

00:22Three of their starters are out.

00:24Left tackle Larrick Jackson's got to serve this second game.

00:26It was two games suspension.

00:28Pooka Nakua is going to miss a minimum of four weeks with this PCL sprain, aggravated

00:32the injury that, and I was there that day when they had a joint practice with the chargers

00:37and El Segundo in early August.

00:39So Nakua got hurt early in the game and he was headed for a big game.

00:42He had four catches in the first half.

00:45That's why you saw Cooper cup get a ton of passes his way.

00:48So that's a problem.

00:49Uh, they're in trouble, man.

00:51They are in trouble.

00:52They, they, they just don't have the depth.

00:54Who has the, who could withstand losing three players?

00:57They're going to be down at least two.

00:58Now the third guy they'll see his day to day, but that, that's a problem.

01:02And that was a tough loss.

01:03In fact, that game would have been a total, I'm telling you because we'll talk about the

01:07overs in a second.

01:08That game had an overpaced, but the problem is the Rams couldn't protect Matthew Stafford.

01:12I give him all the credit in the world.

01:14They really hung in there in that game.

01:15You and I talked about this game Friday that you both, we, we both liked the Lions lines

01:19made it more interesting than it really should have been against those Rams.

01:23They blew it.

01:24They had the game one, they came back and took the lead and then they blew it.

01:29I thought their overtime defense was anemic.

01:32Yeah.

01:33And, and I gotta give, I gotta give the Lions credit getting Jameson Williams, the ball

01:38that that was one of the big stories of the game.

01:40Because if you remember Jameson Williams last year did next to nothing, right.

01:44And this talking to the Lions, this was his breakout season and he did that.

01:48And the one issue you have with the Rams is yes, yes, they, their defense kept them in

01:51the game, but they've got issues at corner.

01:55And that's where teams are going to go after them.

01:56If you could protect there, there was some protection issues in that first half with

02:00golf, but they got it together and he made some big plays when they needed to Montgomery

02:04cashed it in.

02:05But I give the Lions credit.

02:08And now you look at that with the Packers problem, now with Jordan Love going to miss

02:11time right now, you got to say that the lines are a shoe in to win that division.

02:16The Packers can, they're going to have problems winning without Jordan Love, Malik Willis

02:20is not ready.
