00:13Kokoy has been confined to the hospital for three days.

00:15He's 17 years old and his name is not his real name.

00:19The high school student who studies in Quezon City was infected by dengue.

00:24I was in a lot of pain.

00:32Kokoy is among the 1,800 people infected by dengue in Quezon City this year.

00:37The data is more accurate, almost 200 percent, compared to the previous year at the same time.

00:43Because of the continuous rise in the number of cases, the city declared a dengue outbreak.

00:48Most children become victims of dengue.

00:51Of the 1,800 cases, 58 percent are between the ages of 5 and 17.

00:57Kokoy admitted that he was infected by dengue in his school.

01:52Dengue test kits are also free in health centers and hospitals.

01:56The Quezon City Information Campaign is also underway to avoid dengue tips,

02:04wearing long sleeves, using mosquito repellent and drinking water.

02:09The Department of Health's campaign against dengue continues,

02:20there are more than 28,000 cases of dengue in the country.
