00:35For everyone's information, Doc, what is myoma?

00:42Myoma is an abnormal muscle tissue growth in the uterus.

00:50It's a tumor that grows and forms in our uterus.

00:56It occurs in almost 80% or 8 out of 10 women.

01:08Alright, Doc. There are different types of myoma. What are the differences?

01:16Myoma starts in the uterus, in the muscle.

01:20When it grows, it can be a submucosal.

01:28It stays in the muscle, but it stretches the muscle.

01:32It's intermural.

01:34When it comes out, it's called a subserous.

01:39Myoma can also grow in other parts of the body.

01:45Sometimes, it can go down to the cervix.

01:49That's what we call a cervical myoma.

01:54What is the age of myoma?

01:58What are the symptoms of myoma?

02:01Is there a chance that there are no symptoms?

02:04Or are there different symptoms?

02:07It depends on what type of myoma a woman has.

02:13As we mentioned, there are different types of myoma.

02:17Depending on the age group, myoma is more likely to be diagnosed

02:26at the peak of reproductive age, which is around 16 to 44 years old.

02:34But it starts when a woman is still young.

02:37It grows slowly.

02:40When it grows, the first symptom is bleeding,

04:58If there's an anemia, we give the medicine.

05:01So, we start with the medical treatment,

05:04especially if you want to save or you don't want to have an operation.

05:10The hormonal treatment is also included.

05:16or sometimes, the hormones that we take.

05:19Then, we resort to an operation.

05:23In terms of operation,

05:26it depends on the age of the patient,
