00:18Personally organized by President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.,

00:22was the work of the new Philippines Mega Job Fair in Tagum City, Davao del Norte,

00:27where almost 3,000 beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program

00:31came from Carmen and Tagum City.

00:34This is an initiative of the Office of the President

00:37at the Department of Social Welfare and Development, Field Office 11,

00:41in order to improve the livelihood of 4-piece beneficiaries in the country.

00:45This is an implementation of our mandate and our promise

00:52to improve the livelihood of every Filipino family,

00:57especially of the beneficiaries of 4-piece and Tupag.

01:03We also continue to strengthen the distribution of services for all of you

01:09so that you can find a job and serve

01:15towards the fulfillment of your dreams in life and for your families.

01:21It is expected that among the 3,000 pre-identified existing household beneficiaries of 4-piece,

01:26the program will be able to help.

01:29The beneficiaries said will transition out of the program

01:33due to various reasons.

01:35The work of the new Philippines Mega Job Fair was conducted

01:39in order to provide work and income to 4-piece beneficiaries

01:43so that their livelihood will remain progressive

01:47even if they do not receive assistance from the program.

01:50The 43-year-old 4-piece beneficiary

01:53from Magsaysay Carmen Davao del Norte, Michie Natad,

01:57is a cashier in a ball in Panabo Davao del Norte

02:02where she has been a beneficiary of 4-piece for 7 years.

02:05I am thankful to God.

02:08If it wasn't for 4-piece, I wouldn't have been able to fulfill my dream.

02:13According to the Regional Director of DSWD Region 11, Merlinda Paragamac,

02:18the program is a big help to 4-piece beneficiaries

02:21because they have been in the program for 7 years

02:24and they need to transition out.

02:26This activity is important

02:28because we bring services to them.

02:31We wanted them to have work

02:35so that our assistance to 4-piece beneficiaries will be sustainable.

02:42The Department of Labor and Employment Region 11 also helped

02:46by inviting various employers and partner companies

02:52where there are a total of 887 job vacancies

02:56for beneficiaries.

02:59There are also various special services for beneficiaries

03:02like Job Seekers Assistance Booth,

03:05Labor Education and Livelihood Desk,

03:07and Career Development Support Services.
