This is one of my originals that I wrote probably 12 years ago called The Land.
00:30
Time to reign, tears of joy to tears of pain. You never lose more than you gain from the land.
00:42
It's the land where I come from.
00:49
The land keeps me strong.
00:52
With these four walls and this tin roof and ten feet tall of bulletproof. The land where I come from.
01:05
These years flash by day by day. When did I grow up? Who's to say? Seems like only yesterday on the land.
01:29
Now with a son of my own it's plain to see. The branches are growing on my family tree. A love so big could pop the sea.
01:41
The land, it's the land where I come from. The land keeps me strong.
01:54
With these four walls and this tin roof and ten feet tall of bulletproof. The land where I come from.
02:07
It only gives, never takes away like a growing child. With love and care both here to stay like wrecking tiles.
02:21
It's the land where I come from. The land keeps me strong.
02:48
With these four walls and this tin roof and ten feet tall of bulletproof. The land where I come from.
03:00
It's the land where I belong.
03:06
Over the years I've travelled with a band all over South Australia
03:10
and seen and done a lot of music for different people. It's been terrific.
03:15
At the moment it's more local and yeah doing smaller gigs which is which is also fun.
