Berry Public School kids joined volunteers from the Boongaree Bushcare Group to plant trees today for Schools Tree Day. The trees were grown at the school’s nursery.
00:00My name is Peter Burney, I'm from Bury Public School, I'm the assistant principal and today we have stage two students, years three and four, all out here, helping the community, helping the local area and helping nature by planting trees, which all of these trees here came from Bury Public School. We have a plant propagation and the school's donated over 30,000 plants to the community in a matter of about 30 years, started at the school that long ago and today it's still happening.
