00:15This March, the 2025 Ironman 70.3 Puerto Princesa will be held in Palawan.

00:24According to Princess Galura, one of the main organizers of the prestigious event,

00:29more than 1,000 people from more than 40 countries are expected to participate in the tournament.

00:36This is where every player will compete in the individual and relay event.

00:40Aside from this, the categories are Ironman Kids and Princesa Run.

00:44Well, less than three weeks ago, and they were flooded in the last couple of days.

00:49When they were flooded, I just checked, it was already sunny.

00:52So now, it's back to preparations again.

00:54Because this March, our career is the time that the festival is far away,

00:59which also showcases the foundation day of the city.

01:02After the pandemic, sports really boomed.

01:05I mean, not just basketball, not just multi-sports like Ironman.

01:09So volleyball, football, and other multi-sports events.

01:13One of the members of the national team is the triathlete star, Morvin Santiago.

01:18He was fully prepared for the Ironman edition this year.

01:21That's why he made a training plan to win medals abroad.

01:27I'm proud to represent our country, my team.

01:30And of course, to compete with the other countries, it's a challenge for us triathletes.

01:37Because there are other countries that we want to join.

01:40Of course, we want the Filipinos to step up.

01:44Meanwhile, Ironman also announced that their registration is still open for those who want to join Prinsesa Run.

01:50The event will run from February 27 to March 2, 2025.
