00:00Hello, I am Margaret from Lisburn in Northern Ireland.

00:05I could not imagine myself without Braille in my life.

00:10I am so thankful for the gift of Braille which I learned as a child when I started school.

00:18Braille has shaped my life in many ways and it's essential to everything that I do.

00:26Braille gave me the joy and the love of reading a book, holding a book physically in my hand.

00:36Braille shaped my career as a shorthand typist.

00:42Braille gives me the pleasure of not only reading to my children when they were much younger,

00:51and my grandchildren, and now I have the joy of reading Braille and stories with my little four-year-old great-granddaughter.

01:01I am so thankful for the major part that Braille has played in my life.
