00:00The national government's outstanding debt reached 16.05 trillion pesos as of December 2024.

00:07It was down by 0.24 percent from the 16.09 trillion pesos in November last year.

00:14According to the Bureau of the Treasury, last year's debt is slightly aligned with the 2025

00:20budget of expenditures and sources financing projections, which was at 16.06 trillion pesos.

00:27However, the debt-to-gross domestic product ratio of 16.7 percent

00:32was slightly higher than the 16.6 percent revised medium-term fiscal framework estimate

00:38because of the last year's lower-than-expected full GDP growth of 5.6 percent.
