00:53I remember the year Alicia Keys was introduced like a new artist. Oh my gosh

00:58No, it was amazing. It was a man. It was a wonderful

01:01It was just a wonderful night being able to because I love to perform

01:04So no matter where I am whether it's a room of celebrities or ten people

01:08I love to perform and I love singing and I love expressing myself in that way

01:12So getting the chance to receive that love from peers and from musicians and singers and producers and label people

01:18I mean, it was just incredible. What new artists are you listening to today?

01:38When you look at the roster of new artists all these women, what does that mean? Oh my gosh

01:45We've been doing it. We've been

01:49Maybe behind the scenes a lot of times but to see all of them at the forefront

01:53And to see them getting the flowers that they rightfully deserve no matter who wins it's a step forward

01:59It's many steps forward and I hope that it continues to go this way

02:02I hope we continue to see that support and uplifting because their voices deserve to be heard to be heard every single one of them
