00:09It's a real honor when Marco invited me to be here today.

00:16I say yes immediately for many different reasons.

00:21I'm a lover of the arts and a big believer of how the arts can change the world

00:28and can change hearts, can change minds and politics.

00:36When I think of Los Bucis, I go back many, many years

00:41and as many, many iconic songs and special music,

00:50it accompanies us everywhere we go.

00:54I'm not even sure how much you will know how big the impact of your music has been for many of us.

01:05Every time we hear one of your songs,

01:11that takes us all the way to a very specific moment in our lives.

01:15So you become like the soundtrack of our lives in many different ways.

01:22It reminds us of a beautiful encounter,

01:26maybe the birth of our child,

01:29maybe the encounter of love,

01:32maybe the loss of love.

01:35Sometimes we remember you happy,

01:40sometimes we cry with you.

01:41And that is the power of art and the power of music.

01:48And that's to me a phenomenal, huge honor to be here today

01:54and to call this man my brother

01:56and to call the entire group our brothers.

01:59But the music of Los Bucis transcends that.

02:08It goes beyond that.

02:09You know, it reminds us that we all fight very strongly

02:17and with passion for our dreams.

02:20And part of those dreams are precisely this.

02:23The fact that we are here, united today,

02:28it's a big, huge, special moment

02:33in these crazy times we're living right now.

02:37It's a reminder of how your struggle represents everyone's struggle.

02:47people, we make this country better

02:50and you have done that too.

02:54You have made us stronger

02:57and every time we listen to your songs

02:59and every time we go to a concert

03:01when you are in this city

03:03or in any place in the United States

03:05or anywhere in the planet,

03:08we are that reminder

03:10and we stay together because of you.

03:12And now this group of phenomenal musicians,

03:21they take a star from the sky

03:23and bring it down all the way here.

03:26And it will be there forever

03:28with all of us here.

03:31Millions of us who walk this iconic boulevard every day

03:35going to work,

03:37going to fix the gardens

03:39and going to take care of the babies

03:41and going to cook everyone's meals

03:43and going to the fields

03:45and pick up the food.

03:50Enough with this

03:51silly

03:54double standard rhetoric

03:58that we need you

04:00but we want you to go.

04:02Yeah, it's been a long time.

04:04You know, it's a long story.

04:06It takes us decades back

04:08and we're still here

04:09stronger than ever

04:11and we will prevail.

04:13So,

04:14I personally want to thank you guys,

04:19all of you,

04:20for your art.

04:22And every time you go on the stage,

04:25that love gets spread all over the planet.

04:28To me,

04:28to the eyes of the universe,

04:30that's what matters

04:31and that's power.
