00:00The crime rate in Metro Manila dropped by 19.61 percent last January after the PNP reported 451 crimes against an individual and a crime rate lower than 110 in the same month last year.

00:17According to PNP-NCRPO Chief Brigadier General Anthony Averin, the crime rate dropped because of the aggressive and unbridled police operations against criminals,

00:29especially their fight against illegal drugs, loose firearms, illegal gambling, and wanted persons.

00:36The case of Rape, Physical Injuries, Homicide, Murder, and Theft also dropped.

00:40Meanwhile, the PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group reported that 1,000 individuals were arrested last January.
