00:00The Department of Trade and Industry celebrated their success in 2024.

00:06Their plan for this year is also the same.

00:08As part of their accomplishments,

00:1020% increase in foreign investment,

00:14tighter protection on the price of the primary goods,

00:18and strengthening MSME development

00:21to help small businessmen.

00:24In the presentation of the new Philippines program,

00:27DTI Secretary Christina Roque

00:29said that the government will be more aggressive

00:32this 2025 in international trade,

00:36especially in roadshows to encourage global investors.

00:40They also strengthened the Create More Program

00:44for better business incentives

00:46and to expand e-commerce for faster transactions.

00:51DTI will also focus on the creative industry

00:54and will continue to assist the Agriculture Department

00:58to lower the price of rice

01:00in accordance with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s orders.

01:05For this year, we'll make sure that we will have an aggressive approach

01:10or a nationwide approach to make sure that all these programs

01:14reach the people all the way from Luzon all the way to Mindanao.

01:18That is really our goal now

01:20because we have so many programs that are really,

01:23I should say, excellent programs.

01:25We just have to get the people to know

01:27that these excellent programs exist.

01:30And if they avail of these programs

01:32or take advantage of the programs of the DTI,

01:34I assure you, they will rise.
