Crews dealing with rash of water main breaks in Detroit caused by cold weather

With temperatures dipping into the single digits, it’s been a frigid few days all across Michigan. And now in Detroit, the cold weather is causing quite the icy mess -- a rash of water main breaks.

00:13This is on the northbound entranceway to I-75. This is on the Melbondale-Detroit border.

00:20You can see this water main break. The water is going on to the roadway, causing all kinds of problems.

00:32Take a look at this car. And, yeah, it goes through.

00:36And then we go on to the northbound I-75. Oh, it is a mess here.
