00:06This is Jeff Gilbert with the Core Chronicles.
00:09After announcing a Cadillac Lyric V earlier this year,
00:12Marketing Chief Brad Franz says Cadillac's entry-level EV, the Optic,
00:17will get a V-Badge performance trim.
00:19The 2026 Optic V will bring a youthful, more fluent, vibrant persona to our portfolio
00:26without sacrificing luxury design and the performance drive that we know our customers want.
00:31Cadillac's V designation has been around for more than 20 years,
00:35creating a special kind of vehicle for a special kind of buyer.
00:39We know our V-Series brands bring a younger, more fluent customer to our portfolio,
00:44and we expect Optic V to continue with that trend.
00:47Cadillac's Optic V will have 519 horsepower with a special max power mode.
00:53It'll have a 275-mile range and start at just under $70,000.
00:59With the Core Chronicles, I'm Jeff Gilbert, WWJ Radio 950.
