00:05Politicians are involved in graft and corruption,

00:08malversation of public funds and plunder under House Bill No. 11211.

00:18In order for the government to end corruption and fraud,

00:25the death by firing squad is being pushed in front of the camera

00:32against the public officials who are trying to make fun of the graft and corruption,

00:38malversation of public funds and plunder under House Bill No. 11211

00:44by Zamboanga City 1st District Representative Kimer Olaso

00:48or Panukalang Death Penalty for Corruption Act.

00:51According to Panukala, corruption is still one of the biggest threats to the country's development

00:57so a serious action is needed to stop it.

01:01If the death by firing squad is executed,

01:05all public officials, elected or appointed,

01:09as well as members of the military and police forces will be included.

01:14Sad to say that it's been going around.

01:17I said we should do this because to give a lesson.

01:21If this is just a sample, I really believe that this will put a stop on it.

01:26This will stop immediately.

01:28What is the reaction of the Panukalang Death Penalty?

01:32Maybe we should study those bills because there are similar bills that were filed before.

01:40For me personally, my stand is definitely a no to death penalty.

01:46I also filed a bill to reimpose the death penalty for certain heinous crimes.

01:53Plunder is the most logical crime to be included in the imposition of the penalty of death.

02:00Because there is a clear benefit to the player or the actor.

02:08And of course, I think it is a one serious step to really send a signal that corruption should not be taken lightly.

02:20Even though the 19th Congress is just a few months away,

02:23the principal author of the Panukala still hopes that this will be resolved.

02:28That is why he is asking for the support of his fellow countrymen and Malacanang.
