00:00PhilHealth assured the public it remains financially stable despite challenges,

00:05including a lack of subsidy in the 2025 budget and the transfer of 30 billion pesos

00:11to the National Treasury, the Philippine News Agency reported. PhilHealth President Emmanuel

00:16Ledesma Jr. confirmed all benefits will continue without cuts with 29.9 billion pesos in reserve

00:24funds. Recent improvements include a 95% increase in all case rate coverage,

00:31expanded benefits for conditions like breast cancer and cardiovascular diseases,

00:36and new coverage for rare conditions and dental care for children. Ledesma emphasized no premium

00:43hikes are expected this year or in the future and that PhilHealth remains committed to universal

00:50health coverage.
