00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. wants to remove the programs of the Department of Social Welfare and Development

00:07under the Unprogrammed Appropriations in the next year.

00:11This is to ensure that Filipinos can immediately benefit from the government's assistance.

00:17Under the assistance of the President of the Government,

00:20the result of the review of the agency's budget under the 2025 General Appropriations Act was discussed.

00:28The DSWD reduced the fund by P10.85 billion or 4.79 percent.

00:35So, from P226.67 billion under the 2025 National Expenditure Program,

00:42P215.82 billion was approved by the 2025 General Appropriations Act.

00:50The DSWD increased the fund by P41.8 billion

00:55under the Unprogrammed Appropriations in the next year

00:58to implement the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program of 4Ps from August to December 2025.
