00:11lied in state at the National Assembly building in Caracas, where the former Attorney General
00:16was honoured by government officials and the Venezuelan people. The ceremony was presided
00:21over by Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, the Executive Vice President Telsi Rodríguez,
00:27and the President of the National Assembly, Jorge RodrĂ­guez.
00:30In a speech broadcast on national television, Maduro praised Isaias RodrĂ­guez's revolutionary
00:35life, especially as first Executive Vice President of President Hugo Chávez Frías.
00:57In his speech at Isaias RodrĂ­guez's posthumous homage,
01:25Maduro thanked the deceased former Vice President for his services to the homeland
01:30and sentenced that victory will always be on the side of the Venezuelan people.
