00:18It seems like there's no stopping Northport Batangpierre from advancing in the Season 49 PBA Commissioners' Cup.

00:28They are currently leading in the standings of the conference, holding a record of 7 wins and 1 loss.

00:35Head Coach Bonitan admitted that he was surprised by the pace of their campaign.

00:43Before the start of the conference, our objective was to get to the quarterfinals.

00:50Now, we're discussing also to lessen the pressure.

00:54Although we're on top right now, our target is the best of three.

00:59If we don't achieve the top position in the standings, at least we're in the middle of the best of three.

01:14Just last Wednesday, Northport defeated Barangay Inembrasan Miguel 119 to 116.

01:21This was their first win against the Genkings in five years.

01:25According to Head Coach Bonitan, this proves that his team is one of the real title contenders in the Commissioners' Cup.
