00:00The Bureau of Immigration explained why their arrested illegal aliens who were involved in the scamming activity are now being deported directly.

00:09According to BI spokesperson, Dana Sandoval, there should be another case against the alleged illegal aliens

00:16so that they can be jailed here in the country where they will wait for the court's sentence to end

00:22and then they will be deported back to their country and will be blacklisted in the Philippines.

00:28The alleged aliens were involved in the scamming activity that has a connection to cryptocurrency.

00:33Most of the victims are Westerners, men who are being deceived by fake dating apps

00:39and then they will be cheated to invest in something of great importance.

00:43This is the purpose of BI's monitoring.

00:46Other government agencies are also involved so that not only can criminals like them be found,

00:51but also to protect the image of the country.

00:56Our jurisdiction is the status of these foreign nationals.

01:01For example, if there is no case filed against them, they are set for deportation.

01:07If we deport them, they will be directly blacklisted.

01:12They are not allowed to re-enter the country so that they can be jailed here in the Philippines.
