00:03I'm Matty, he's Clem, and today we will be reviewing Taco Bell's new chicken nuggets.

00:09Right out of the gate.

00:10We're still in Orlando.

00:12We ordered this from a delivery app.

00:14We asked for all three sauces, we asked for three of each, actually, paid extra.

00:19As a matter of fact, they gave us one whole Bell sauce.

00:24We're missing the Hidden Valley Hot Ranch or something, and we're missing the Jalapeno

00:32Habanero.

00:33Honey mustard.

00:34Honey mustard.

00:35And I like honey mustard.

00:36I've never had the remix on.

00:37I was kind of excited about it.

00:38I was really excited for it, too.

00:40With that said, too, these look absolutely terrible as well.

00:43They smell all right, though.

00:46Some look okay, I should say.

00:47That one's freaking me out.

00:48We're also going to keep this real.

01:00I was really excited for those sauces.

01:02I think that was going to be the potential star of the show.

01:06I will say, though, if you're Taco Bell, I feel like Bell sauce is your leader.

01:10You want this to become the franchise sauce.

01:26Part of the breading is tortillas, which I appreciate.

01:29The nugget game is a game that is very obviously crowded, but I still think these guys can

01:34get in.

01:35Good crunch.

01:36And actually pretty juicy.

01:38It's an all white meat nugget, which I appreciate as well.

01:45I'm just going to put it out there now.

01:48And listen, again, this was a long day.

01:50We had the Taco Bell...

01:51Oh, the Taco Bell.

01:52Pop-Tarts Bowl.

01:53These are good.

01:54This lifted my spirits.

01:55This was worth the wait, in my opinion.

01:58One nugget down.

02:01Yeah, they're good.

02:05Some of the nuggets we grew up with have lost some of the charm over the years.

02:09They've lost their fastball.

02:10I think Taco Bell is making a move with these.

02:12We'll see, though.

02:13It's a longevity game.

02:15And the thing to me about these is they had those triangle chicken nuggets before.

02:24They came with the cheese to dip in.

02:29The cheese was an option, but I was too busy getting all the other sauces that I was like...

02:34I think you have to embrace what you have with Taco Bell, and the cheese is one of your

02:38prized franchises.

02:41With that said, they are juicy.

02:43They're crispy, and they taste good.

02:45That sauce is good, too.

02:48Like I said, that one's freaking me out.

02:54This is the... maybe the freak.

03:07Alright, overall, though, they're pretty good, and I feel like they could be even better.

03:11The fact that they forgot everything, and the fact that everything didn't look consistent.

03:18It would probably be higher than mid-8's... mid-7's, excuse me.

03:23But the way it was presented today, I'm giving it a 7-2.

03:26I'll say this.

03:28I'm grading a little bit of a curve, because I do think this is a good one.

03:32But it's not good.

03:36because I do think some of this stuff

03:37might've been out of their control.

03:39I also have to admit, these are my kind of nuggets.

03:42I like these kind of nuggets.

03:43They're crispy, almost a popcorn-y,

03:45but sometimes popcorn nuggets,

03:47you're getting more breading than you're getting chicken.

03:50This gives you a lot of chicken.

03:51I'm giving an A3 and I really, really like them.

03:55That's high, and I'm sticking with it.

03:57Look at this.

03:58Ed, I'm gonna eat the rest of the Frankenstein nugget.

03:59I like it so much.

04:00For sure.

04:01Listen, I don't hate the review.

04:03If I picked it up, if I went for myself

04:05and I got it more quality control,

04:08if I got all the sauces,

04:10if they looked more consistent and it wasn't super late,

04:12they could definitely creep into the high sevens,

04:14possibly eights, so I don't hate it.

04:16Taco Bell, I'm gonna make this a call into you.

04:21I won't blame the Taco Bell franchise as a whole.

04:23Yeah, yeah, yeah.

04:25You guys could've had an all-time high score

04:27on the snack list if they had just delivered today.

04:29Is that a fair statement?

04:30Yeah, yeah, very possible,

04:31and this is only our second fast food item

04:34besides the Turkey Gobbler.

04:35And we remember how that turned out.

04:37It got sloppy.

04:38Maybe we're not made for the delivery fast food.

04:40We have to go to the restaurants.

04:45and we could sit inside, too.
