00:05Whenever the weather gets wild or snowy across the UK, families are often left tossing up whether they can get their child to school safely.

00:13And sometimes, weather conditions get so hazardous that schools will temporarily close.

00:29Here, you can enter your school's postcode and be directed to the relevant council webpage.

00:34Councils should have a list available of all the school closures in the area.

00:50Probably the fastest way to find out, however, is to look up the school's website.

00:54Many schools will publish a notification on their sites or on their social media pages in the event of a closure,
