00:00Uh, Kirby Smart here on why he believes in Gunner Stockton, they actually have to play

00:09Well, I think the number one thing a quarterback has to have is decision-making skill.

00:14Number one, he makes really good decisions.

00:17Number two thing for a quarterback is accuracy, not necessarily armed talent, but accuracy.

00:22He has accuracy.

00:23So decision-making is a skill.

00:27Accuracy is a huge skill.

00:29Thinkability and talent probably takes over third.

00:31He has those traits.

00:34All the intangibles in terms of toughness, character, embody what he was raised on.

00:38His dad was a really good football player, played at Georgia Southern.

00:42He's been raised around football.

00:43He's a coach's son.

00:46All the players play harder for him.

00:49Do you make the players around you better is what you look for in a quarterback.

00:53I think he raises the skill level of everybody around him because of who he is.

00:57So that's my reason for believing he's a good quarterback.

01:01Yeah, I don't believe a word he just said, other than he's a coach's son.

01:10I mean, honestly, do you really believe that this kid, I have to see it to believe it.

01:30He had 71 yards.

01:31He was terrible.

01:32And I don't want to hear it.

01:34I want to see him do it against a good defense like Notre Dame's.

01:38If he has a big game, I'll eat a hoagie sandwich.

01:41And I'll give him all the credit in the world.
