00:00Here's Brian Kelly, of course, entering his fourth season as the head coach at LSU.

00:05Here, of course, he has Garrett Nussmeier coming back for his second season.

00:09I showed you the Heisman odds a week or two ago,

00:11and they had Garrett Nussmeier as the second favorite behind Manning.

00:15So Brian Kelly's very excited to have Garrett back at school.

00:19I can't underestimate how important the development was.

00:23And I think we all, you all saw it.

00:26Jayden Daniels' development for year one to year two was astronomical, if that word even suits it.

00:34I mean, it was incredible.

00:36Garrett Nussmeier will have a similar jump.

00:38It's because you go on the road and it's sold out.

00:42You play teams that are so well coached and so balanced and have great players

00:49that you have no choice but to learn, develop, and get better,

00:54or you're going to be left by the side.

00:57And so that's why I'm so confident that experience in this league at the quarterback position

01:02is the most important thing.

01:05I wouldn't argue with that at all.

01:08I also, you know, I got to be honest with you.

01:11I thought that kid was real average.

01:13So if he's going to have this, and he just compared him to Daniels.

01:17So that's a dangerous statement.

01:18That's what I don't agree with.

01:20So that's the one thing he said that I won't go with.

01:23That kid is no Jayden Daniels, okay?

01:25You know what?

01:26And he's white, okay?

01:28So he is no athlete, in my opinion.

01:31You can quote me on that.

01:32Like, he is a clumsy white dude, and he sucked.

01:35Like, I'm being nice now.

01:36Now all of a sudden you're talking about him being great?

01:39Oh, slow down there, coach.

01:42He's right about all the qualities you need in the SEC at the quarterback position,

01:47saying that he's going to take the kind of jump in year two in the system that

01:51Jayden Daniels, he's not Jayden Daniels.

01:55Jayden Daniels just took a team to the NFC title game in the NFL.

01:59And that's not far removed from being at LSU.
