00:49The latest attack occurred on New Year's Day in Pagalungan, Maguindanao del Sur.

00:53Two grenades were hurled into a police compound around 6 p.m.

00:57One grenade exploded, damaging a vehicle, while the other failed to detonate.

01:02In Dato Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte, a police officer and his family were ambushed

01:09Despite a hail of gunfire hitting their vehicle, all survived without casualties.

01:46U.S. Army veteran Shamsuddin Jabbar drove through New Orleans' French Quarter crowd

01:58Jabbar, a 42-year-old Texas native and former military serviceman, was killed in a police

02:04shootout after the attack.

02:06Authorities believe he had accomplices and are investigating potential links to terrorist

02:11They found weapons and explosives in his truck while two explosive devices were found in

02:16the French Quarter.

02:17Meanwhile, President Joe Biden condemns the attack in New Orleans as a despicable act.

02:23He says that investigators were exploring potential links to a Tesla truck fire near

02:27a Trump Hotel in Las Vegas.

02:29He notes no evidence has been found connecting the two incidents.

02:33The FBI reported to Biden that hours before the attack, the New Orleans suspect posted

02:38social media videos saying ISIS is an inspiration and expressing a desire to kill.

02:45South Korean police raid offices related to Jeju Air and Muan International Airport on

02:49Thursday, January 2.

02:51The raid is part of an investigation into the deadly crash of Jeju Air Flight 7C-2216,

02:57which killed 179 people on January 1.

03:01Police investigators conduct searches at the offices of Muan International Airport's operator,

03:06the Transportation Ministry's Aviation Authority, and Jeju Air in Seoul.

03:10The raids intend to seize documents related to the aircraft's operation, maintenance,

03:17An investigation into the Jeju Air flight is underway, involving South Korean officials,
