00:00The Department of Agriculture has promised that they will take care of the issue of rice branding.

00:06According to Agriculture Secretary Francisco Chu Laurel Jr.,

00:11they will submit a plan this January on the removal of the branding of rice

00:16which is the reason why retailers and traders are confusing consumers with its price.

00:22It is expected that the issue will be resolved by the personnel who inspected the market in Metro Manila.

00:30Meanwhile, this month, the government is speeding up the standardization of the label of rice

00:36by other agencies.
