00:20Judge Egusra Ali fixed the date on Friday following a request from Deputy Public Prosecutor

00:27Nadia Elina Jamaluddin for additional time to submit case documents to the defence.

00:34The accused, 22-year-old Amirul Iskandar Nurhanizan, is charged with intentionally causing injury

00:40to 20-year-old Muhammad Salman Muhammad Saiful Surash using a hot steam iron at the ALK in

00:46Sungai Bersi on October 22 at 11.45pm.

00:51Amirul Iskandar, represented by lawyer Ramkarpal Singh, faces charges under Section 324 of

00:59the Penal Code, which carries a penalty of up to 10 years' imprisonment, a fine, whipping

01:05or a combination of these, upon conviction.
