00:00The palace assured that it is currently reviewing various provisions in the 2025 General Appropriations Act

00:07to ensure its compliance with the current law.

00:10According to Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin,

00:13President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and his cabinet are blaming the proposed national budget

00:20to ensure its compliance with the Constitution

00:23and that it will properly fund the government's priorities, especially the legacy programs.

00:30The D.E.A. gave a secret message to the President

00:33that it is important to be careful with expenses and to properly program the country's limited funds.

00:39This statement was followed by several calls to remove possible unconstitutional items

00:45from the proposed budget before it was passed by the President.

00:49Despite the calls, Malacanang remains positive that the 2025 budget will be implemented

00:56in accordance with the administration's priorities and the Constitution.

01:01The General Appropriations Act was passed by President R. Marcos Jr. on Monday, December 30.
