00:20time in front of 30,000 people and a live TV audience around the world. Organized by the
00:27Church every 25 years, the Jubilee is intended as a period of reflection and penance and is
00:33marked by a long list of cultural and religious events, from masses to exhibitions, conferences
00:39and concerts. The Jubilee will conclude with the closing of the same Holy Door on January 6,
00:452026. Some 700 security officers have been deployed around the Vatican and Rome for
00:52these celebrations, with tightened measures following Friday's car-ramming attack on a
00:57Christmas market in Germany.
