00:00If they're looking for reasons to keep Alex Van Pelt, there's one big one, and it's Drake May.

00:58And I think that he's going to stick up for Van Pelt.

01:00I think he's going to say, oh, yeah, it's not like Van Pelt's going to go get another

01:05It's not like he's going to go be a head coach somewhere.

01:07I think they'll go to Drake May and they'll say, hey, what do you think about offensive

01:10coordinator?

01:11And I think Drake May is going to say, I want to keep him around.

01:14And if he says that, that's probably enough of a rubber stamp right there to keep him

01:18around at least one more year.

01:19And that's all I think it really is going to take.

01:22If you believe him, if you believe what Drake May said to us on Monday, then that seems

01:26like the logical progression of all of this.

01:28I don't think the Crafts are going to make a unilateral decision like that without at

01:32least checking with their crown jewel rookie quarterback.

01:35I just think that that's someone who's going to have some input in this decision.

01:38And if he has input in it, then I think Van Pelt's safe.
