00:00Some senators have mixed feelings regarding the passing of the 2025 national budget.

00:08This is what Daniel Manalastags has to say.

00:13Senate President Francis Escudero has explained how the budget can be increased,

00:18particularly the 2025 national budget passed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

00:25After passing, if it occurs after, in any agency, whether the executive, the legislative, it happens after the budget is passed.

00:35Senator J.V. Ejercito is ready to respond if there are more budget processes, like a special session.

00:42If it's urgent, we will stop it.

00:44We will review the budget so if there are issues, we will work overtime.

00:55If there are issues, we will solve them.

00:57Senator Aimee Marcos has a meeting with the Department of Budget and Management and several government officials.

01:04I am also urging the DBN to not go back to the system of FLR, the so-called 4-later release.

01:14Senator Aimee also has a sentiment regarding the possibility of a re-enacted budget or to increase the budget this year.

01:21If it happens, this is the worst, if it doesn't happen, until January, you will have a re-enacted budget on a per-month basis.

01:30That's one-to-one.

01:32It will still be able to catch up.

01:33For me, it doesn't need to reach the re-enacted budget.

01:36It can still catch up. There are still days.

01:39President Marcos first assured that the priority projects of the government will receive funds next year.
