00:15sticks in recent months and you might be wondering what the risks of owning one could be.

00:19Police and officers from FACTS have been visiting homes as part of the crackdown in 2024.

00:24It even led to the arrest of a man in Wales as the operation was carried out across the UK.

00:29The full list of areas targeted has been revealed and includes major cities and regions.

00:34People have been warned that police could be watching them if they have access to illegal

00:37or pirated streams. Normal fire sticks sold by Amazon are not the devices being clamped down on,

00:42instead it is the modified or jailbroken devices which go around the software installed by the

00:46developer. Police issue update after closing Yeadon Way in Blackpool. A road traffic collision

00:55closed the road in Blackpool earlier today with police at the time advising motorists to avoid

00:59the area. Yeadon Way was currently closed this afternoon from the junction with the

01:05M55 up to the roundabout at the SL Petrel garage due to a road traffic collision. A spokesperson

01:10for the police said at the time the road was closed for a short amount of time but they made

01:14sure it was safe and clear. Pizza place to be added to the street full of takeaways.

01:20A pizza takeaway is to open in Leyland as more than three years after a similar venture launched

01:26on the same premises without getting planning permission first. Ed's Pizza started trading

01:31from a shop in Preston Road in June 2021, however the operator of the fast food joint has failed to

01:37secure approval from South Ribble Borough Council and the business closed down 12 months later.

01:43Now the authority has given the green light to the same type of takeaway but under different

01:46management the council's planning committee gave the nod to the pizza outlet which will be known

01:51as Pizza Go Go when it opens in the coming weeks. London Way and Bamber Bridge closed due to a crash

01:57as police urged motorists to steer clear. London Way and Bamber Bridge closed from the capital

02:08the police said we anticipate that the road will be closed for a short amount of time whilst we

02:12clear the road and assess the situation. In the meantime we'd recommend delaying your journey or

02:17looking for an alternative route and driving carefully leaving plenty of extra time to get to your destination.
