00:00Welcome to Ennismally Road, home of Britain Ferry RFC, Britain Ferry Rugby Club. We go

00:09135 years, local community club in Britain Ferry. We are proud to have a few mini and

00:17junior teams, as well as a very successful youth team, a senior team, an over 40s touch

00:24rugby male team, and recently formed a ladies touch rugby team as well. So over the years

00:32we produce some Welsh internationals as well as many local legends. I decided to nominate

00:38Mark for the award because I thought he was worthy of the time that he's given up for

00:42most of his life for Britain Ferry Rugby Club. The way that he's built a friendship, not

00:49only on the field but off the field, and he's made so many changes to people's lives.

00:54He's not just a coach, he's a mentor, he's a friend, and he's probably a lifetime friend

00:58for a lot of them because he's coached them from the age of six, seven, right through

01:03to senior rugby. So I definitely thought that he was worthy of the nomination. I want to

01:09stress how important volunteers are to our club. I suppose we're no different to any

01:14other local community club. As I said, we've been going on 135 years and I think it's probably

01:19fair to say that not only Britain Ferry Rugby Club but loads of other clubs in the area

01:24I think wouldn't have survived if it wasn't for the wonderful volunteers that we've got.
