00:00Didn't really expect it coming into the week, but yeah, it was an honour to run your country out no matter where you're playing,
00:07but especially on my home pitch as well, it's huge really.
00:12So warming up, what were your thoughts? Because I see you had your headphones on, obviously, in the zone.
00:16What was going through your head?
00:18A lot, to be fair. I was quite nervous, but as the crowd started building, I started seeing the familiar faces in the stand.
00:25And I realised kind of why we play the sport and all the nerves went down and just kind of flew into the game.
00:32Not many players have the honour of leading your country out. You've got a very famous ground. What was that like?
00:38Yeah, massive. I think it's a historic ground we were talking about before the game.
00:44And yeah, it's a historic ground and I couldn't think of anything better.
00:49Leading the boys out, leading a group of mates out onto this pitch is huge. It's a massive honour.
00:56There's no fault of the boys, really. I think they tried their hardest and we've worked so hard over the past three, four weeks.
01:02I think it's just England probably turned the switch and we kind of didn't catch up to them in time.
01:08So is it a case you just forget about that second half now and just focus on Italy?
01:12I think, yeah, we'll obviously review it. We won't forget about it, but we will review it.
01:17We'll look at it, but not dwell on it for too long because we know how good we can be.
01:22And we know with the squad that we have, we are able to bounce back from a defeat into a win.
01:28So yeah, I think it's just screwing our heads on now and looking forward to Italy on Friday and then going into the World Cups.
01:35We'll have one, two boys.
01:37One, two.
