00:00I'm really pleased, I thought that we showed some outstanding moments of work rate which
00:06is what we challenged the group on. I thought our kick execution, kick chase really put
00:11pressure on the Scottish and then we showed some really good hunger in our defence to
00:16keep them out on our goal on a number of times. So all in all, really pleased with the effort
00:21from the boys, they've come together in three training sessions and put a good performance
00:25together. I thought that first 20 we actually played
00:28the game really well, the tempo and intent of the game from both teams was really high.
00:33We had majority of the ball and to be fair to the Scottish, they were holding us out
00:37but I felt that when we eventually got into the 22 and had a few more chances in there
00:42we would eventually get over the line. So pleased that we took a little lead into the
00:46half and obviously we moved away a bit in the second half.
00:51We had 28 players for the squad for this game and they were all going to get an opportunity.
00:57It can sometimes get a bit bitty when you make a number of changes but I thought they
01:00all stepped up, played well, did the role that we asked of them and again just executed
01:06the game plan in that second half. A number of school kids that are here, fair
01:09play to Murphy, wanted to host it and they put a great occasion on. It felt like a proper
01:15test match, really loud, awesome experience for the boys in prep for the Six Nations.
01:22It's always good to have Rob in and around the set up, whenever he's not with the seniors
01:27he's in with us. It just highlights the alignment we've got from the top down. He's keeping
01:32an eye on who's putting their hand up in the 20s and also that alignment if boys do step
01:38up into the senior training programme. We'll have a totally different squad for
01:41next week which is great. Over the course of the two weeks we'll get to see 55-56 players
01:46so it's another opportunity for the next crew and it gives us some selection headaches.
01:53These two weeks will be invaluable for us to pick our Six Nations squad so this week's
01:59guys have set their challenge down for next week.
