00:00Hey, Elyse Riley out at Pet Tender Angels for 12 Strays of Christmas.

00:10We have a shy girl with us now.

00:12This is Knox, and she is precious.

00:15She just takes a little bit of time to warm up, so I'm not going to mess with her.

00:19She's in her own little world down here, but Lori's going to tell us a little bit more

00:22about her.

00:24She is about three years old, and she's going to turn around.

00:28She was pulled from a shelter down near the beach.

00:31I can't remember exactly which one, but she was on the euthanasia list because they couldn't

00:35even get there.

00:36They couldn't even touch her.

00:37She was so afraid, so that's the kind I like, so they called me, and I ended up taking her.

00:45She was totally feral when she came here.

00:49She now loves everybody that works here and goes down to the field and loves to play.

00:54She loves to play ball and football, but she takes getting to know a new person, but

01:03she's such a sweet girl when she gets to know you, so she just needs someone to give her

01:09a little time.

01:11She also gets along with other dogs.

01:12Knox, are you going to show your face?

01:18I don't know about cats.

01:19Probably not young children since she is so shy, but you know, she's never been aggressive

01:25or anything, just scared, so if you're willing to give a little dog a great home and a little

01:31time to adjust, they make the best pets when you finally gain their trust.

01:36Absolutely.

01:37They just are so loyal.

01:39If you are looking for a fur baby this Christmas and you've got a little bit of time, some

01:46patience, Knox is the sweetest girl.

01:50She is so, so cute, and she's looking for her forever home, and she's showing you that

02:23we don't just say, take them and go.

02:25Yes, this is so important, yes.

02:26We will work with you.

02:28We will give you tips to get them acclimated.

02:33We even have a trainer that might be willing to talk to you over the phone about situations

02:37or even if you wanted to buy some training, but we don't just say, here you go, figure

02:43it out.

02:44We will work with you.

02:45We stay committed to the dogs as long as they are alive, so anything we can do to help people

02:51with these little shy dogs, we are willing to do, so just wanted y'all to know that.

02:56Yes, absolutely.

02:57That's so important, and that's one thing that they are especially amazing about.

03:02Like she said, they don't just adopt out.

03:05It's part of their life forever, and they're here to help as well, so if you're looking
