This Mental Health Awareness Month, we have teamed with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to continue the conversation about mental health, both in ourselves and our communities.

00:00it's not necessarily that you feel that you're a victim in life but you just feel the sense of
00:06passive you know life is happening to you but there can be this fundamental shift where you
00:12realize there are actually things that you can do because the way that I view it conceptually
00:17is that the brain the mind is the mediator between the things that are happening in our
00:23lives how we process them and the output that happens we have more control over than we realize
00:30if we learn how to optimize that that sort of control center if you will of the mind and
00:36developing you know an awareness of our thoughts a mindfulness about our sense of presence and and
