World Mental Health Day 2023: Mancunians share their advice on improving mental health and keeping spirits up during the winter months
  • 7 months ago
October 10 this year is World Mental Health Day.

It's a time to talk about mental health and let people know it's okay to ask for help, no matter what you're going through.

According to the Mental Health foundation, over 7,000 tea and talk events have been held on world mental health day which have raised vital funds for the charity - and given people a safe space to speak about their own mental wellbeing.

With the darker winter nights approaching, some people may feel an impact on their mental health.

We asked people on the streets of Manchester what they do to keep their spirits high, particularly around this time of year.
